After half a year of investigations, officers of the Moldovan police arrested<\/a> a 45 years old US citizen and a 25 years old Moldovan for recruiting young women for on-line sex shows.<\/p>\n

The two suspects have reportedly recruited 45\u00a0young women aged between 18 and 35, through the site 999.md during two years. The young women were determined to deliver sexual shows in videochat.<\/p>\n

A sudden search in one of the studios caught the leader of the “enterprise”\u00a0during an on-line show. The policemen confiscated computers, bank cards and other objects proving the guilt. Money was reportedly sent by clients to an account opened abroad by the US citizen and then withdrawn from ATMs and banks in Moldova to justify the origin.<\/p>\n

The American citizen was arrested for 30 days, while the young collaborator is investigated under custody. They would be charged with Recruiting for prostitution and could be imprisoned for 4 to 7 years.<\/p>\n
