The lawyers also ask for full acquittal and release of Vlad Filat from detention.<\/p>\n<p>The lawyers also ask that the request is examined in a public trial and the magistrates motivate their decisions. They hope that the request will be accepted and the Supreme Court will prove professionalism and will repair the serious violations in the case.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Vlad Filat did not have a equitable trial. He was judged with closed doors, fake proof, invented witnesses, violation of rights, which all led to adopting an illegal decision and a precedent of political condemnation&#8221;<\/em>, reads the press-release of the lawyers office which serves Filat.<\/p>\n<p>In case the Supreme Court of Justice does not\u00a0<em>make justice<\/em>, lawyers <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/en\/moldova-ex-pm-vlad-filat-go-supreme-court-justice\/\">declared<\/a> that Vlad Filat will go to the European Court of Human Rights.<\/p>\n<p>Former Liberal-Democrat Prime-Minister, Vlad Filat, was arrested on October 15th 2015 for allegations of passive corruption and traffic influence towards the then businessman and now mayor of Orhei, Ilan Shor.
