The Fiscal Service of Moldova collected<\/a> 11% more taxes in 2016, comparing to 2015.<\/p>\n

The total income accumulated by the fiscal authorities in Moldova’s budget was 27,6 billion lei (1,37 billion USD), 2,7 billion more than in 2015. With the exception of licence tax for telecommunication companies, the tax collected by the Fiscal Service of Moldova was worth 11,55 billion lei, 12,2% more than in 2015.<\/p>\n

Even the budgets of the administrative units increased their fiscal income by 12,4%- 3,27 billion lei.<\/p>\n

The social insurance budget accumulated 9,653 billion lei, 8,3%\u00a0more than in 2015. The increase in the accumulated budget to the medical insurance fund was of 14%- 3,154 billion lei in 2016.<\/p>\n

Considering all these increases, the share of Fiscal Service’s contribution to the National Budget increased from 61,2% to 61,7% in 2016.<\/p>\n

The increased accumulation of taxes in 2016 can be motivated by the low economic performance and consequently lower tax contribution in 2015, the year of crisis in Moldova\u00a0due to the devaluation of Moldovan leu and the disappearance of one billion US dollars from the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
