At least, this is one of the modifications proposed to the Law on the Lawyers.<\/p>\n<p>The changes would allow the, even former, deputies to get a licence of lawyer, if they have at least 10 years of experience in the domain of law, writes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bizlaw.md\/2017\/01\/04\/deputatii-vor-sa-acceada-in-avocatura-fara-examene-ce-alte-modificari-propun-la-legea-avocaturii\/\">bizlaw.md<\/a>. According to the authors of the law, the deputies with law knowledge have enough competence to be lawyers. Moreover, the authors criticize the bureaucratization of the procedure of accession to the position of lawyer to be introduced by the Lawyers&#8217; Union.<\/p>\n<p>The law also stipulates that the profession of lawyer is not compatible with exercising the job of a notary and a bailiff.
