On December 12th, the Government of Moldova approved<\/a> 29 amendments to the state budget for 2017, which the Parliament proposed in the first lecture. <\/p>\n

Thus, the taxes on tobacco and oil products will be increased in 2017, while the tax on jewelry will remain the same.
\nEconomic agents from the Free Economic Zones will benefit furthermore from fiscal facilities, but only with the condition of doing additional investment to increase the number of employees.
\nAnother amendment states that the penalties related to delayed reporting of goods value and code at the customs would not be calculated, thus facilitating the activity of importers and exporters.
\nA change stipulates that the physical persons will be required to pay a lower income tax for rent activities- decrease from 10% to 7%.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Ministers approved a series of changes to the requirements needed in the management of the Fiscal Service, but also in the salary payment for officials of the Fiscal Service, Customs Office and those from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.<\/p>\n

For 2017, the Moldovan Government expects<\/a> 3% economic growth, 10% increase in exports and 9% in imports. The draft law states that the incomes to the state budget will increase by 11% to a total of 32,8 billion lei, increase mainly caused by higher taxes and bigger grants (2,91 billion lei).
\nThe expenditures will rise by 9% to 36,9 billion lei, due to the raise of salaries, additional spending on reforms and payment of state debts.
