During November 27-30, the Prime-Minister of Moldova, Pavel Filip is paying visit to the European Union.<\/p>\n

On November 28th, Filip met the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, with whom he discussed the political situation in Moldova and the priority reforms in the European agenda. The Moldovan PM again assured that his Government is following the engagements previously taken:
\n“We returned to a normal rhythm of our relations with the EU. A maximal mobilization for ensuring the transparent implementation of the Association Agreement is needed furthermore”<\/em>, said Filip. According to a press-release of the Moldovan Government<\/a>, Tusk expressed his appreciation for obtained results.<\/p>\n

Later, Filip and Moldovan Ministers had a meeting with the Vice-President of the European Commission, Valdis Dombrovskis. The Commissioner reportedly confirmed EU’s availability to support the reforms with a macro-financial assistance program of 100 million euros<\/a>, out of which 40 millions are granted.

Filip discussed with the Commissioner for Energy Union, Maro\u0161 \u0160ef\u010dovi\u010d, about the opportunities of energetic security, with the special focus on gas and electrical interconnections with Romania, and was advised to advance on approving the new energy package.

The series of discussions was continued with the meeting Neighborhood and Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn, who congratulated on the agreement with the IMF and announced about approximately 45 million euros as budget aid for Moldova until the end of the year.
\nFilip continued with the optimistic discourses on the upcoming recovery in 2017, at the same time apologizing for the recent partly failed electoral process.

EU High Representative for foreign affairs and security policy, Federica Mogherini, also had a meeting with the Moldovan Prime-Minister.
