The Government of Moldova and the World Bank restarted<\/a> the negotiations regarding the Finance Program of $45 million on November 8th, after the Executive Board of the IMF approved the $178 million financial aid on November 7th<\/a>. The meeting between the governmental delegation led by Finance Minister Octavian Arma\u0219u and the World Bank delegates took place at the World Bank Office in Chi\u0219in\u0103u. <\/p>\n

The sides held discussions on the Finance Program for development policies in the competition (DPO-2). The program supports the following objectives: improving the predictability of the business environment, creating equal chances of competition and reducing the costs of conforming to the existent regulations, consolidating the financial sector stability, promoting transparency and improving the access to funds, efficiency and equity of public investment, investment subsidies and social assistance.<\/p>\n

The World Bank allocated over 1 billion US dollars for approximately 60 projects from Moldova since its adherence in 1992. Currently, the World Bank is implementing 10 projects worth more than 350 million US dollars.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
