On November 8th, the National Bureau of Statistics of Moldova announced<\/a> that the stage of inputting data from questionnaires of the 2014 popular census ended on October 31st 2016. <\/p>\n

Now, the personnel of the Statistics Bureau will proceed to:
\n1. Codifying the textual information of the open questions;
\n2. Validating and editing the data;
\n3. Estimating the number of people not included in the 2014 census via administrative sources;
\n4. Calculating indices, elaborating charts and maps.<\/p>\n

The head of the Moldovan Statistics, Vitalie Valcov, confessed that the Bureau assumes the responsibility for “conducting the census with difficulties in Chi\u0219in\u0103u”. <\/p>\n

The Bureau will reportedly present the final results of the 2014 census in March 2017.<\/p>\n
