On November 1st, Moldova’s former President and current leader of the Moldovan Communists’ Party, Vladimir Voronin, called for boycotting the second tour of the Presidential elections too. <\/p>\n

Voronin and Communists think the change to direct Presidential elections is unconstitutional and the current elections are illegal.
\n“We are boycotting the elections. Period. We don’t participate at anti-constitutional elections. We are not interested in any candidate, in anything. We don’t participate because the elections are conducted by violating the Constitution. You don’t know, but in all these years, I have never had any contact with President Timofti. Only because he was illegitimately elected. I will do the same with the future President after November 13th. I will not shake hands, never”<\/em>, stressed Voronin.<\/p>\n

Former President also declared that he and his party have no reasons to support the Socialist Igor Dodon, who called for support of the left<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I will not change my attitude towards Dodon, even if he becomes President, because he sold us for 3 million euros. We are boycotting the elections and we don’t support anyone”, concluded the Communist.<\/p>\n
