A new poll published by Intellect Group<\/a> shows few changes in the preferences of the people of Moldova in terms of Presidential candidates for the elections from October 30th. <\/p>\n

More than 90% of the respondents are sure about voting in the Presidential elections.
\n31,4% of the respondents declared they would vote for the Socialist candidate Igor Dodon<\/a>, 14,8% for PAS candidate Maia Sandu<\/a> and 13,9% for the Democrat Marian Lupu<\/a>. 9,3% would vote for the now retreated Andrei N\u0103stase, 6,7% for former PM Iurie Leanc\u0103, 5,4% for Dumitru Ciuba\u0219enco<\/a>, 2,2% for Inna Popenco<\/a> and 1,1% for the Liberal Mihai Ghimpu<\/a>. 10,2% didn’t have an answer.<\/p>\n

Asked about Moldova’s foreign policy choices, 52% of the people declared they would vote for adhering to the European Union, 49% for joining the Eurasian Union, 24% for union with Romania and only 18% for joining NATO.

The poll was conducted among 910 people in 35 regions between October 10 and October 16th. The error rate is 3%.<\/p>\n
