The discussions led by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Moldova, Daniela Morari, and the Director for Eastern Partnership within the European Service of External Action, Luc Devigne, were focused on the progress of implementation of the Association Agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The political dialogue section of the talks regarded the organization of the upcoming Presidential elections, but also the engagements towards the functioning of a state with rule of law, including the Constitutional Court reform, corruption combating, public administration reform (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/en\/eu-commissioner-johannes-hahn-visits-moldova-brings-e15-million-assistance-program-public-administration\/\" target=\"_blank\">recently funded by the EU<\/a>) and the cooperation with civil society. The European delegation recommended to continue the process of reforming the local authorities level, applying the decentralization principles.<\/p>\n<p>The progress on justice reform and anti-corruption fight was presented through the package laws adopted within the frame of the Roadmap assumed by the Parliament from Chi\u0219in\u0103u.<br \/>\nThe discussions in the economic domain were based on the current dialogue of the Republic of Moldova with the International Monetary Fund, including the recommendations given for the banking sector.
