The Democrat candidate Marian Lupu<\/a> and the Socialist one, Igor Dodon<\/a>, started the official fight between them in the Presidential elections of Moldova. <\/p>\n

On October 13th, Lupu came with a statement on Facebook, saying that his only counter-candidate is the “anti-European candidate” Igor Dodon. Lupu claims that he will participate at debates only if he would have to confront Dodon directly. The Democrat argues that he will fight the Socialist candidate on switching the European path of Moldova and on the federalization plan of Moldova. Lupu also warns the other Presidential candidates that the goal of these elections is keeping the European integration course and stopping those “who want to lead to a disaster”.
