Militia of the separatist regime in Transnistria are used to stop the distribution of one issue of the only political human rights newspaper \u201e\u0427\u0435\u043b\u043e\u0432\u0435\u043a \u0438 \u0435\u0433\u043e \u043f\u0440\u0430\u0432\u0430\u201d. On Monday and Tuesday, the militia officers were taking the issues from the postal boxes, public places and even asked the locals to give them the issues in Bender, Rybnitsa and some villages close to it, reports local TSV. <\/p>\n

According to the militia, the issue from September 28th 2016 of the newspaper contains critical messages in the address of the separatist leader Evgeny Shevchuk, and the confiscated issues are taken for linguistical expertize. The editor of the journal, Nikolay Buchatsky, declared that some distributors of the newspaper were even threatened with administrative cases. <\/p>\n

Promo-LEX jourist, Alexandru Zubco, who monitors the human rights in the region, declared that the incentives made by the administration upon the only alternative journal would be considered as a violation of freedom of expression of the people living there. <\/p>\n

The local press with ties to Shevchuk states that the newspaper is just a mean of the opposition “Obnovlenie” party, supported by Sheriff corporation, to discredit the image of the so-called president.<\/p>\n
