A poll on the “Quality of government evaluated through the state-provided services”<\/a> conducted by CBS-Axa together with IDIS-Viitorul shows that the citizens of Moldova are highly discontented by the central authorities. The poll also included questions regarding the Presidential elections on October 30th.<\/p>\n

The citizens use the most the services provided by the medical institutions (58%), education institutions (12,4%) and the public local administration (11%), the latter reportedly working the best.
\nSpeaking of institutions, the people have the most trust in the church (70%), local council (58,1%) and mass-media (58%), while the most distrusted bodies are the Government (70,5% of distrust), the President (75,6%) and the Parliament (72,5%).<\/p>\n

Asked about their political preferences for the upcoming Presidential elections, 23,3% reported they would vote for the Socialist Igor Dodon, 7,9% for former Education Minister Maia Sandu, 7,7% for Andrei N\u0103stase and 7,6% for Marian Lupu. The latter is followed by Dumitru Chubashenko with 4,5% of the votes, Iurie Leanc\u0103 with 3,2% and Valeriu Ghile\u021bchi with 1,5%. <\/p>\n

11,6% said they would not vote at the Presidentials, while 27,5% didn’t know how to answer.<\/p>\n
