The voting results for the Russian Duma elections from the unrecognized republic of Transnistria must be canceled, thinks Sergey Bespalov<\/a>, member of “Democratic choice” party from Russia. <\/p>\n

According to Bespalov, candidate for representing the 93rd Irkutsk district which enhances 42 thousand voters from Transnistria, the votes of 187 thousand people from the separatist region would influence the Russian Duma elections by 0,5%, probably in favor of the ruling “United Russia” party. Moreover, the votes from Transnistria will be included in the register of the 175th Smolensk district, the circumscription where the general secretary of Putin’s party proposed his candidacy. <\/p>\n

Bespalov believes that the results coming from Transnistria must be canceled because of three main reasons:
\n1. The electoral lists are lacking, thus allowing multiple voting in different voting centers.
\n2. The only party that has advertisement in the region is Edinaya Rossia (United Russia). Over 300 billboards are not paid from the electoral fund of the Russian Federation.
\n3. The distribution of the advertisement materials for United Russia is conducted by the local organization-party “Renewal” (Obnovlenie), a fact that violates the Russian electoral law by involving “foreign juridical figures” in the electoral campaign. <\/p>\n

The candidate for Russian Duma specifies that the promoters of Edinaya Rossia in the region promise the soon admission in the Russia, although Moscow officially support the inclusion of Transnistria in Moldova within a special status.<\/p>\n
