On September 8th, the Appeal Court of B\u0103l\u021bi accepted the demand to cancel the initiative of organizing a referendum to dismiss the mayor of the Moldovan capital, Dorin Chirtoac\u0103. The demand of Chi\u0219in\u0103u mayor’s lawyer stipulated that the decision of the Centru Court<\/a> would be canceled. <\/p>\n

The decision can still be contested at the Supreme Court of Justice. The leader of the initiative group, urban activist Victor Chironda, declared the referendum cause will be contested at the Supreme Court, at the Supreme Council of Magistrates and at last, at the European Court for Human Rights.<\/p>\n
