We talked about the union with Romania, the obstacles he confronts on the political plan, about Moldova at its 25, about Christianity and atheism and others. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"740\" height=\"416\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XvMyKyTuVp8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Six years ago, in April 2009, outside the building of the Government, there were people being beaten, peaceful protesters being abusively retained or even arrested by the police. Kidnapped from the street. The arrests had no legal basis. They would have to present themselves, motivate themselves and so on. All those young people were kidnapped from the street, were beaten here, behind the Government. Someone from Press House saw that. I was a reporter at JurnalTV and they called me. I was in front of the Government, watching the protests, filming, say, reporting. It was 10pm, April 8th. I was running to see how people are being beaten. There, under some trees, I saw and filmed, until they noticed me and started beating me as well. <\/p>\n<p>I identified some two out of the six aggressors. One of them was in the uniform. He was judged but acquitted, because, says the Moldovan justice, his guilt couldn&#8217;t be proven. Another one is a blond with long hair, Vitalie Burlacu, that was later arrested for trying to bribe deputies with a million and something US dollars. He was condemned, but he ran away. The case where I am the victim and he is the accused one, is somewhere at the Prosecution Office of Chi\u0219in\u0103u. Ivan Diacov makes himself an opposer and a correct person, but during his 6 years of rule, no justice was done. Vitalie Burlacu wasn&#8217;t prosecuted properly, for example. The other four weren&#8217;t identified. Burlacu led the agression of a journalist and the theft of two video cameras. He didn&#8217;t touch me, as far as I remember. But I fainted, stayed with my face on the ground and thus didn&#8217;t see. I didn&#8217;t see the others who beated me. They weren&#8217;t even searching for them. <\/p>\n<p>Maybe, if I got into a public position, and I did apply for diverse jobs, I would have gone to the other side of the barricade and maybe I would have been nicer, more polite, understanding, sober. But they didn&#8217;t let me be director at the public television, member in the Observers Council, member in the Audiovisual Council, not even in the Anti-discrimination Council. If you didn&#8217;t want me in any public position which I am capable of or I know I can be useful for the society, I feel I need to be in the opposition. To be in opposition in a serious way, as an artist, as a journalist, as an activist and as a politician. I don&#8217;t know what kind of politician am I, but I can&#8217;t even be a candidate. I want to be candidate at the Presidentials, but they tell me I should have a group of 25 people I should pay. Pay with what? I am unemployed, I can&#8217;t sustain myself! I need to ride the bike and to eat dry bread this autumn. <\/p>\n<p>A NGO, with grants from Norwegians and Americans, or donations from different citizens, with some 100 members, that&#8217;s how much Hyde Park Association had in hostile conditions, under a hostile Government that would harass us&#8230; That&#8217;s why in 2008, we even erased Hyde Park, after 5 years of official existence. We automatically liquidated it and we now activate non-formally without being pressured. We could survive in hostile conditions, we managed our transparency, they couldn&#8217;t make cases against us, couldn&#8217;t catch us with anything like fund defrauding, like other NGOs&#8230; Some entered illegality or disappeared from the country, like LADOM or the Helsinki Committee, whose president connected with mafia, just to escape from the penal cases. It means that we are capable. If we could manage a NGO like Hyde Park, I think we would be able to manage a country like the Republic of Moldova. Which is not really a country, let&#8217;s recognize, it&#8217;s a parody&#8230; You can lead it only with a sense of humor.<\/p>\n<p>Let Plahotniuc exist, if he can prove the legality of his property and his actions until now. If not, let him exist, behind the bars, somehow, like Vlad Filat. But even Filat, I believe, deserves a transparent and correct trial. Not like this. The majority of those who I know to be active, involved, has either a double citizenship or has a different ethnicity. So, we don&#8217;t really have Moldovans as active citizens. Thus the Republic of Moldova does not exist yet, even if the calendar reads that there 25 years since it declared its independence, by Moscow&#8217;s will and following Ukraine&#8217;s and other Soviet republics&#8217; example. <\/p>\n<p>I was asking people, some time ago: &#8220;Vote against everyone!&#8221; How? Destroy the vote bulletin, stamp on all of them. I would put N in brackets so that it became &#8220;\u00een toN\u021bi&#8221; (for the dummies- Romanian). To me they all seemed to be corrupt, incompetent, impotent, fake politicians and they still seem so. That&#8217;s why I decided to be a candidate. I don&#8217;t have anyone to support! There are, in different political groups, sincere, naive or correct people, with principles, but they are eclipsed by the opportunists. These people could form a civic group or an honest political movement. Eventually, they can create a class of professional politicians. So far, there is nobody to gather them. <\/p>\n<p>I believe the Christian Orthodox religion makes us a big bad service. That&#8217;s why I am an active atheist. Especially when I see that the Church involves too much in the state things, in school, in the hospital. I am surprised they didn&#8217;t make any chapel in the Government, for a mass. But there is the Cathedral across the street and they go there to kiss priest&#8217;s dress. Even if he would be protestant, like Ghile\u021bchi or Filat, or others. Even if they are atheists or they were active militants during the Soviet times. Most of them are born in the USSR, like me, but they go to kiss priest&#8217;s dress. Didn&#8217;t you see Voronin and Lupu? They used to found a lot of constructions, monasteries&#8230; You, the Communist Party, that was closing all the churches and especially the Orthodox one, now you found monasteries?! So, their hypocrisy and that of the citizens that elect them and that tolerate this kind of behavior are the causes why the Republic of Moldova is doing so bad and why it is necessary to start a change from ourselves. <\/p>\n<p>Most of them are some occasional, imposed Christians, because this is the tradition. You go to the godfather and we stay there for nothing, because it&#8217;s a holiday marked with red in the calendar and you shouldn&#8217;t work. When it is about now working, they are happy, during both state and church holidays. Although none of them read the Bible. Because if you read the Bible, you become an atheist instantaneously! You instantaneously understand how old, dusted, wild and bloody is that book. How primitive! They don&#8217;t read it! And they don&#8217;t listen to what the priest says! I couldn&#8217;t collect more than one thousand in a month, as independent. But he did it in two days! Interesting&#8230; He is so good he doesn&#8217;t have a party! But he formed a party, he needed 4 thousand signatures for founding a party. Now he is silent, he didn&#8217;t participate at the elections, I think. And he became a Presidential counselor. It is clear he is with the mafia. I am not that kind of guy! They can&#8217;t blackmail me with anything! They try to marginalize me. <\/p>\n<p>If the comrade coordinator says &#8220;Hmm, these elections are not good. Give an order to the Constitutional Court. We cancel it! Something wasn&#8217;t good, so we assign him, by an order from Nobil, for the throne for his entire life&#8221;. Something like this is possible! And a lot of Moldovans will accept this thing. They allow their marches, maybe they are financing them somehow, so I don&#8217;t want to be associated with this Government. The unionist idea is good, if the Union is made peacefully, legally, through a referendum, with the will of the majority of population or through the political decision of the Parliament. I don&#8217;t know if the status of the country can be changed with a decision, without a referendum. Obviously, I am against a forceful Union, with the army and the circumstances like in 1918, during war, with stress, with the Russian army at the border and so on. But surely Moldova can survive independently. <\/p>\n<p>Plahotniuc proved to be a flexible coordinator, so far. When he saw, during the government of Voronin, that you can&#8217;t oppose the Europeanization, that you can&#8217;t oppose the unionist ideas, he turned to them. He exploits these ideas and changed himself on time to remain in the backstage with the threads. <\/p>\n<p>I wish to the Republic of Moldova, if it still wants to be a state, to make an effort, to understand its destiny and take it in its hands and to give birth to citizens. As long as Moldova doesn&#8217;t have citizens, it remains a political project, that someday could turn into a district of Russia or three counties of Great Romania. If it wants to survive as an independent state in the next quarter or years, it should take control of its destiny. The population should feel like citizens, should read the Constitution or, at least, the Independence declaration, and should start act like citizens of a lawful, democratic, European state.
