On August 18th, the arrest warrant for the businessman and mayor of Orhei, Ilan Shor, was prolonged with 30 days at the demand of the prosecutors. Although the primary goal was reportedly to put him under preventive arrest, prosecutor Andrei B\u0103e\u0219u declared that the decision wouldn’t be contested, reports Ziarul de Gard\u0103<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Some of the journalists complained about the fact that Shor’s bodyguards limited their access to the court’s session and therefore, didn’t give the chance to hear the complete decision.
