According to the chie of the Anti-corruption Prosecution Office, Viorel Morari, the three officials are accused of professional negligence in the case of the Russian Laundromat of 20 million USD:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Being responsible of preventing and fighting money laundering, they didn&#8217;t take any actions towards Moldindconbank, the bank that allowed transactions of 20 billion US dollars. We are talking about laundering of money that was transiting the accounts in Moldinconbank from Russian banks because of the negligence of given persons&#8221;, stressed Morari.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>On August 6th, the Court of Buiucani district issued arrest warrants for the accused ones: Emma T\u0103b\u00e2r\u021b\u0103- 25 days, Matei Dohotaru- 25 days, Vladimir \u021aurcan- 30 days. <\/p>\n<p>They might be imprisoned for up to 6 years with the ban of 10 years to hold a public position.<\/p>\n<p><code><iframe src='\/\/www.privesc.eu\/widget\/live\/68377' frameborder='0' width='480' height='270' scrolling='no'><\/iframe><\/code><\/p>\n<p>The Moldovan banker <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/en\/kyiv-court-rules-moldovan-businessman-veaceslav-platon-must-stay-arrest-40-days\/\" target=\"_blank\">Veaceslav Platon<\/a> is also involved in the Russian Laundromat, being an important shareholder at Moldindconbank.
