Supporters of the controversial mayor from Orhei, and not only, came to the Court and protested for his release with slogans like &#8220;We want Shor back home&#8221;, &#8220;Freedom!&#8221;, &#8220;The justice is with us!&#8221; or &#8220;We want out mayor back!&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p><code><iframe src='\/\/www.privesc.eu\/widget\/live\/68347' frameborder='0' width='480' height='270' scrolling='no'><\/iframe><\/code><\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, the session of the court had to canceled due to Ilan Shor&#8217;s heart problems and bad state of health, as reported by his lawyers. Shor was taken from the court by an ambulance. <\/p>\n<p>The session regarding the appeal will be held on August 5th, 11am. <\/p>\n<p><code><iframe src='http:\/\/rlive.md\/embed\/43200.html' frameborder='0' width='600' height='358'><\/iframe><\/code><\/p>\n<p>On June 24th, the judges from the Buiucani Court of Chi\u0219in\u0103u issued a mandate of arrest for 30 days for Ilan Shor, and then prolonged it with another 30 days on July 21st.<br \/>\nThe controversial businessman and mayor of Orhei, Ilan Shor, was retained on June 22nd for 72 hours. The arrest was applied after a hearing in a case where he is a suspect of tax evasion and money laundering of big amounts. Prosecutor Adriana Be\u021bi\u0219or, who is investigating the case of Vlad Filat, declared that this case is a different one that the one from 2014, where Shor is already accused.<\/p>\n<p>The General Prosecution Office of Moldova started the investigation regarding the dubious transactions between Banca de Economii, Banca Social\u0103 and Unibank in December 2014. Ilan Shor was the main controlling figure in the three banks.
