On July 28th, Olga Coptu was designated<\/a> as the new head of the Bureau for Relations with Diaspora of Moldova by the Prime-Minister Filip. The former chief Valeriu Turea announced his resignation several days before. <\/p>\n

“I enter this job with a huge responsibility, but I feel honored by this mandate, because I want to continue all the projects and actions together with the team of the Bureau. We will involve as much as possible the members of Diaspora in the respective activities, and we will promote all the initiatives and achievements on Diaspora, Migration and Development level”, declared Coptu. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Olga Coptu (third from the left) came back in Moldova in 2014, after leading a Moldovan organization in Italy. She graduated the Faculty of History of the State University of Moldova, and then the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations of “La Sapienza di Roma” University from Italy. In 2009, Coptu founded the newspaper of the Moldovan migrants- “Gazeta Basarabiei”, sold in countries like Italy, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium, Greece.
