On June 29th, the Government of Moldova adopted the prolongation of the moratorium on state control of the physical and juridical persons with entreprise activity. The moratorium will be extended with three months, from July 1st till September 30th 2016. <\/p>\n

By this the authorities want to keep the “favorable conditions for the national business environment”. Only the Ministry of Economy will be able to make decisions on initiating of checks in certain situations. <\/p>\n

According to the Economy Minister Octavian Calm\u00e2c, in the first moratorium, between April 1st and June 29th, there were 62 demands for checks, out of which 42 were rejected, 10 accepted and 10 cases were rejected for lack of competence. Most of the demands came from the Fiscal Inspectorate, the Financial Inspection, Ecologic Inspectorate, the Inspectorate for Alcool Monitoring, the Energetic Inspectorate and the State Inspection for Constructions. <\/p>\n

The Parliament would have to adopt this extension of the moratorium, along with the reduction of the control authorities and the uniformity of the control procedures. <\/p>\n
