GirlsGoIT Moldova is announcing a new edition of the Summer Camp and is inviting you to be a part of it, in order to discover the IT area, as well as to create your own web application. During 9 days, the summer camp will engage girls in soft and hard skills activities, from team building games and outdoor activities to learning coding and programming. The summer camp will take place from 23rd to 31st of July, 2016.<\/p>\n

The participants of the Summer Camp will have the opportunity to be guided by trainers and mentors with experience, will be a part of an active community, will interact with the governmental, corporate and social sectors of the country and, last but not least, will have the chance to acquire IT skills.<\/p>\n

The most important benefits of the camp are:
\n1. You will learn different programming languages, with the help of qualified trainers and mentors;
\n2. You will be able to develop a web application;
\n3. You will be able to find an IT solution to a problem from your community;
\n4. You will have the opportunity to become an ambassador of GirlsGoIT and continue your activity in the GirlsGoIT local club from your city or village;
\n5. You will become part of an active and dynamic environment, together with other girls from different regions of Moldova etc.<\/p>\n

The requirements for girls to participate at the GirlsGoIT Summer Camp 2016 are:
\n– age between 16 and 20 years old;
\n– at least a beginner level of English language;
\n– basic computer skills.<\/p>\n

In order to participate at the GirlsGoIT Summer Camp, you need to fulfill the application form, which you can find at www.girlsgoit.md<\/a>. The deadline for the application form is June 22nd, 23:59.<\/p>\n

The 2015 edition of the GirlsGoIT summer camp took place in the village of Bahmut where 38 girls from 19 regions from Moldova acquired IT skills by learning how to build web applications for their social projects.<\/p>\n
