More than 800 children from Transnistria, the break-away region of Moldova, will have access to education in safe and modern conditions. <\/p>\n

The European Union is financing the renovation of schools from Nezavertailovka, Hlinaia and Chi\u021bcani through the Support to Confidence Building Measures Program implemented by UNDP.<\/p>\n

The 1964-built school from Nezarvetailovka was never repaired and its heating system didn’t work, making the educational process a challenge for kids and teachers.
\n
\nThe new heating system is already installed, while the workshops, classrooms and the big hall are getting ready. <\/p>\n

In Hlinaia, the sports hall and the meeting room, which were destroyed by humidity after a big leak in the roof, will be ready soon.<\/p>\n

The EU offered 150 000 euros for the renovation of each of the schools.<\/p>\n

The Support to Confidence Building Measures Program contributed to the reconstruction of 70 social infrastructure objects on both banks of Nistru river. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
