The Bureau of Statistics<\/a> of Moldova announced that in January-February 2016, the exports of goods amounted 255,2 million US dollars, while the imports of goods amounted 494,4 million USD. Compared to the same period of the 2015, exports decreased by 18,5% and imports by 13,8%.<\/p>\n

The exports of goods produced in Moldova amounted 155,9 million US dollars, 29,3% less than in 2015, reducing the total exports by 20,6%.
\nThe reexports increased by 7,1% up to 99,3 million USD,, having a rate of 38,9% in the total amount of exports.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the trade balance deficit in January-February 2016 has been of 239,2 mln. USD, lower by 21,2 mln. USD (-8,2%) than that recorded in the same period of 2015.<\/p>\n
