The Association of Sociologists and Demographics of Moldova published on February 29 the results of a new poll on the current political preferences of the citizens. <\/p>\n

The poll shows the leaders of the opposition in a good light, as they get 45,5% of the votes altogether. Thus, the leader of the Socialists, Igor Dodon, received 15,8% of the votes, Andrei N\u0103stase, the leader of the Platform “Dignity and Truth” Party, has 10,4%, while the head of “Our Party”, Renato Usat\u00eei, has 8,9% of the confidence votes. They are followed by former Education Minister Maia Sandu, former PM Iurie Leanc\u0103, and former PM and businessman Ion Sturza. <\/p>\n

When it comes to choosing a president, 17,5% would want Dodon in that seat, 14,6%- N\u0103stase, 9,1%- Maia Sandu, followed by Usat\u00eei, Leanc\u0103 and Sturza. <\/p>\n

Asked which party would they vote for, 17,2% chose the Socialists Party, 13,8%- Platform “Dignity and Truth”; Our Party- 13%, European People’s Party of Moldova- 6,8%, Democrat Party- 6,6%, Communists Party- 6,1%, Liberal Party- 5,7%, Liberal-Democrat Party- 2,4%. The poll didn’t include the Solidarity and Action Party of Maia Sandu, because it is not registered yet officially. Still, it can be easily said that the so-called “Pro-European” forces lost the trust of the majority of people of Moldova.<\/p>\n

Worse results for the latter can be found in a poll published previous week by CBS-AXA<\/a>, that stipulate that neither of the current government parties would get in the next Parliament. only Our Party (19,8%), Party of Socialists (12,9%), Platform “Dignity and Truth” Party (8%) and Action and Solidarity Party (6%) would in case of snap elections. An even bigger change can be brought by those who are undecided: 29,3%. <\/p>\n
