The law regarding the moratorium on state checks<\/a> for a period of three months was voted in the first lecture on February 25th by the Parliament of Moldova. Thus, all the fiscal, customs, financial, sanitary, safety and quality checks and controls will be stopped in the next three months. <\/p>\n

According to the Ministry of Justice, the law has the goal to decrease the abusive interventions of the control institutions towards the physical and juridical persons that have an activity of entrepreneur in Moldova.<\/p>\n

The documentary controls, the reports, the penal checks, those done by the National Bank of Moldova and those demanded for issuing certificates will be done regardless of the moratorium. <\/p>\n

The Vice-Minister of Justice, Nicolae E\u0219anu, stated that “through this project, there will be a basis for a mechanism to resolve one of the most frequently mentioned problems by the economic agents”. Moreover, E\u0219anu declared that the economic agents will have now the opportunity to demonstrate that they can work without the supervising state institutions. <\/p>\n

The moratorium on state control is one of the main “reforms” promoted by the highly-disliked Government of Moldova led by PM Pavel Filip.
