In the last quarter of 2015, the inflation rate was 13,4% in Moldova, 2,3% more than in the 3rd one. In December 2015, the inflation even went up to 13,6%, still above the admissible limit of 5%.<\/p>\n

The increase of the inflation was generated by the depreciation of the LEU, that influenced substantially the prices of food products. The depreciation of the LEU also had a significant influence on the prices of drugs, energy and gas. <\/p>\n

According to the projection of the National Bank, the inflation rate in 2016 will be 10,1% and the one in 2017- 6,6%. Thus, the economy of Moldova will have another year of decrease of growth.<\/p>\n

Still, National Bank’s policy is unclear when it comes to reducing, lowering the depreciation of the leu and to regulating the ilegal operation within the main banks of Moldova, after the big theft of one billion from three banks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
