The Government of Moldova approved on Wednesday, 3 of February, the law project regarding the moratorium on state checks made by the Ministry of Justice. The law has the goal to decrease the abusive interventions of the control institutions towards the physical and juridical persons that have an activity of entrepreneur in Moldova.<\/p>\n

The moratorium on state controls, planned or inopinate, including the fiscal, financial and custom ones, will be introduced for three months. <\/p>\n

“All the control institutions are touched by this law, but that doesn’t mean anarchy. The control will exist, it will be transferred to the controller’s office”, declared the Ministry of Justice, Vladimir Cebotari.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Prime-Minister Pavel Filip stressed that the Government is not populist in this way, but has a long-term vision. <\/p>\n

“The situation of the checks is a systemic one. The Government did everything in its are of action. During these three months of moratorium, we will make a law project to regulate the checks, so that they are transparent and with clear rules”, told Filip.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Later, the civil society criticized this law because it wasn’t debated publicly and was approved in a hurry. <\/p>\n
