The average tariff for the natural gas distributed by the enterprises of Moldovagaz will be cut by 10,9% beginning from 1st of February (5545 lei for 1000 cubic meters). The decision was made by the Administration Council of the Moldovan Agency for Regulation in Energy (ANRE). <\/p>\n

Thus, ANRE established the following tariffs for the natural gas sold to final customers (without tax):
\n-up to 30 cubic meters- 5892 lei\/1000 m3
\n-more than 30 cubic meters- 6138 lei\/1000 m3<\/p>\n

While the distribution cost was cut by 7,2% (70,74 lei\/1000 m3), the transportations costs were substantially cut by 89,9% (from 324,75 to 32,74\/1000 m3). <\/p>\n

The price reduction was mainly determined by two factors:
\n-the lowered price of the natural gas imported from the Russian Federation;
\n-the modification of the law regarding the price calculation for natural gas (the regulation and price setting roles came back to ANRE).<\/p>\n

The new tariff was made even to keep the balance between the transit and the transportation costs, who were paid by the customers before. <\/p>\n

The new price for customers was set by ANRE after taking in account that the estimate price of buying for 2016 is 199,72 US dollars for 1000 cubic meters (-$60,57).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
