The State Enterprise “Moldelectrica” and the Institute of Energetic Studies and Projects (ISPE) signed on Wednesday, December 16th, the contract of the starting and the presenting of the feasibility studies regarding the interconnection of the electroenergetic systems of the Republic of Moldova and Romania.<\/p>\n

The study will analyze the possibility of interconnection within three projects with stations “Back-to-Back”: the existing line of high voltage Isaccea-Vulc\u0103ne\u0219ti, and the two new lines Ia\u0219i-Ungheni-Str\u0103\u0219eni and B\u0103l\u021bi-Suceava. <\/p>\n

“In order to implement the contract in 12 months, our European partners gave us a 1,1 million euros grant. The first stage of the feasibility study will be finished until June 30 2016”, declared the Vice-Minister of Economy, Valeriu Triboi. <\/p>\n

Ghenadii Dimov, the director of “Moldelectrica”, stressed that the study will aim the estimation of the impact of the lines on the electroenergetic system in Moldova.<\/p>\n

Moldova tends to find alternatives for its energy sources, in order to not depend on the Russian gas and on the electrical energy produced in the uncontrolled region of Transnistria. Its main alternative source is Romania, but the first pipeline Ia\u0219i-Ungheni for natural gas failed as an alternative because of the belated reaction of Chi\u0219in\u0103u and the decreased price offered by Gazprom. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
