The authorities of Moldova announced on Wednesday, December 16th, the request sent to Switzerland to ask for judiciary assistance in the investigation regarding the former Prime-Minister Vlad Filat. The information was reported by the Swiss RTS, quoted by Mediafax<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The spokesperson of the Federal Justice Office from Switzerland, Ingrid Ryser, confirmed the reception of the official demand regarding the corruption and influence trafficking cases and transferred them to the Public Ministry of Confederation for execution. <\/p>\n

The Public Ministry didn’t state what is the purpose of its action, but the spokesperson Nathalie Guth declared that the Ministry didn’t open its penal procedures against Vlad Filat.<\/p>\n

The former Prime-Minister was arrested on October 15th and is accused of taking bribes worth about 240 million euros. <\/p>\n
