On December 11th, the Minister of Economy, French-born Stephane Bride, proposed that Turkish companies from Russia to transfer the investment in the Republic of Moldova. The proposal relates to the future sanctions, which will be implemented on January 1st 2016 by the Russian Federation after Turkey shot down a Russian plane in November.<\/p>\n

The proposal was made to the Turkish Ambassador at Chi\u0219in\u0103u, Mehmet Selim Kartal. <\/p>\n

Bride stressed that Moldova will become a good platform to the deployment of the Turkish firms from Russia by using the facilities from the Free Economic Zones and the Industrial Parks. <\/p>\n

Mr. Ambassador Kartal appreciated the initiative, mentioning that his country is open for this offer. Kartal announced that on January 22nd 2016 a joint business forum will be organized with the participation of entrepreneurs from Turkey and Moldova.<\/p>\n

The commercial trade in the first 9 months in 2015 between Moldova and Turkey are worth 261,9 million US dollars, in decreasing of 13,5% comparing to the same period of 2014 ($302,7 millions). <\/p>\n
