21% of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova would vote for the Union with Romania in case of an organized referendum. At the same time, 53% would vote against. At least, this is one of the results presented by the Public Opinion Poll. <\/p>\n

The data shows hat 14% of the questioned people are Undecided and 9% would not participate in the referendum.

In the same poll, 91% of the people stressed the necessity of electing direclty the President of Moldova.

\nSome 25% would like Renato Usatii, the leader of “Our Party”, as President, 23% for the Socialist Igor Dodon and 23% for Maia Sandu, former Minister of Education.

\nAsked about a undesirable person for President, 58% responded Vlad Plahotniuc, the Democrat oligarch and 41% for the former Liberal-Democrat PM, Vlad Filat.

Some changes appeared in the party preferences of the people, excluding the Liberal-Democrats out of the Parliament and including the People’s European Party and the Platform Dignity and Truth:
\n-Our Party- 24%;
\n-Platform Dignity and Truth- 18%;
\n-Party of Socialists- 15%;
\n-Party of Communists- 11%;
\n-People’s European Party- 10%;
\n-Democrat Party- 9%;
\n-Liberal Party- 7%.<\/p>\n
