Italy ratified today<\/a>, on November 26th, the Association Agreement of the European Union with the Republic of Moldova. The Agreement was signed on 27 June 2014 and was being partly applied since 1 September 2014.<\/p>\n

Now, the Association Agreement should start to be implemented to the full level beginning from January 1st 2016. It is to be mentioned that the site of the European Council didn’t post yet the announcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Until now, the main benefits of the Association for Moldova are the visa-free regime within the EU, new resources for reforms and financial assistance for the infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the community “acquis” must now be implemented in the economic, justice and social standards of the Republic of Moldova. <\/p>\n

Still, the so-called Pro-European parties are not hurrying to solve the political crisis, let alone to implement huge reforms.
