The Czech Republic is the biggest importer of wine from Moldova out of the 28 state-members of the European Union.<\/p>\n

“Every year we buy approximately 10 million liters of Moldovan wines.<\/strong>
\nThere are some wine factories in South Moravia. One of the winemakers studied in Chisinau and is now interested in importing the Moldovan wine. Generally speaking, the wines from Moldova are highly appreciated by the Czech customers. Moldova is also known on the Czech market for importing nuts, plums and other fresh or preserved fruits”, stated the Czech Ambassador, Jaromir Kvapil for the journal “Banks and Finances-Profit”, quoted by Noi.md<\/a> referring to Infotag.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to the Ambassador, “the frequent changes in the Fiscal Code of Moldova are not favorable for sustainable investment by Czech business”<\/strong>. Regarding to the financial-banking situation in Moldova, Kvapil stressed that the European banks do not want to invest due to the bad conditions of the market.
\nAccordingly, “the Czech companies are involved in Moldovan economy only through intermediate companies”, like DAAC Hermes, which imports Skoda cars.<\/p>\n

Currently, the trade between the two countries is worth 80 million euros. The Czech products dominate the trade relations.
