Republic of Moldova has citizens that are participating in the fights in Syria, but there is no risk of terrorist attacks in the country. At least, this is what the Moldovan Minister of Defense, Anatol \u0218alaru, told the press<\/a> after a meeting of the President with the power structures.<\/p>\n

“The risks are coming from inside, from those who are already here. I understood that there are Moldovans that are fighting in Syria, but I believe there is no major risk of an attack in Moldova. The Islamic State achieved its goal: to generate panic. We shouldn’t fall in this trap. It is demanded from the Security Services, the Ministry of Internal Affairs to do their duty and every citizen to prove his civic spirit”, stated \u0218alaru.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
