After the terrorist attacks in Paris<\/a> on November 13th, the Border Police of Moldova has decided to take urgent measures of ensuring the security of the citizens at the state border. The following actions will be taken:<\/p>\n

– Establishing a more rigorous schedule of activity at the most used checkpoints (International Airport of Chisinau, some points on the border with Romania and Ukraine);
\n– Supplying the number of employers at the most used check-points;
\n– Enforcing better control, especially on persons coming from countries in war or from their neighborhood;
\n– Involving the canine teams (dogs) in the control of luggage, in order to detect explosive substances;
\n– Involving special devices for the detailed control of the means of transportation;
\n– Improving the collaboration with the national and international law-enforcement organisations;
\n– Practicing the emergency status in the border Police, through anti-terrorist exercises;
\n– Instead of 15% of detailed control, now 80% will be examined.<\/p>\n
