Doubts within the so-called “Pro-European” parties of Moldova: the Liberal Party and the Democrat Party.
\nThe President of the Liberals, Mihai Ghimpu, declared that without discussions with the Communists, quote, Republic of Moldova will not be able to solve the political crisis, especially next spring, the time for electing the President.
\nEven if he declares himself Pro-European, Pro-NATO and Pro-Romanian politician, Ghimpu agrees, in an interview for Free Europe, to give some positions to the Reds, in order to avoid preliminary elections. <\/p>\n

“I didn’t change my attitude, the situation imposes me to do this, because we, Liberals, are against early elections. We are now in a bad state, but in spring…We can try everything, but in spring we won’t gather 61 votes”, stated the Liberal leader.
\n“We better give some positions than give the republic”, points out Ghimpu.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Not only Ghimpu is willing to retreat from its previous “Anti-Communist” rhetoric.
\nRight now, almost the entire Moldovan political class is going backwards through the remains of the so-called Alliance for European Integration- the Liberals and the Democrats, the latter being the engine of this anti-reformist regime. They can be joined either by the group of MPs led by former PM Iurie Leanca or the Communists. Or both. Or even the Socialists. Every political combination is possible since the Democrat oligarch Vlad Plahotniuc controls all the parties through indirect blackmailing or penal cases, like the one launched against the former Liberal-Democrat leader Vlad Filat (not a victim though).<\/p>\n
