Thus, the new price is <strong>30%<\/strong> higher (2,16 lei).<\/p>\n<p>The protests culminated with people crowding and pushing the policemen who were guarding the building. Even though the director of the Agency agreed to talk with the protesters, the people told that they will protest until the new price is taken down.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/%d0%bf%d0%bb%d0%b0%d1%82%d1%84%d0%be%d1%80%d0%bc%d0%b0-%d0%b4%d0%b0-%d0%bf%d1%80%d0%be%d1%82%d0%b5%d1%81%d1%82%d1%83%d0%b5%d1%82-%d0%bf%d1%80%d0%be%d1%82%d0%b8%d0%b2-%d0%bf%d0%be%d0%b2%d1%8b%d1%88\/attachment\/144707546242\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-437643\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/144707546242.jpg\" alt=\"Protest ANRE\" width=\"650\" height=\"347\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-437643\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The leaders of the Civic Platform &#8220;Dignity and Truth&#8221;, the organizers of the protest, stated that the decision of the rising is not justified:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The economic analysts declared that the electricity bills are unfair by 50%, because this part goes to the wallets of the oligarch Vlad Plahotniuc and the leader of the separatist Transnistria Evgeny Shevchuk<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>On the other hand, the former director of the same agency, Victor Parlicov, stated in a talk show at M1, that the rising of the price is partly motivated because the previous tariffs were calculated according to the rate between US dollar and leu (11,83 lei per $1), way smaller in 2012. Now that the rate is 20 lei for 1 US dollars, a fair price cannot be implemented. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;We have an abnormal situation in the region. We have a latent war very close to us. one of our biggest commercial partners is in crisis- Russian Federation, with the imposed sanctions. We have a stagnation in the region- Europe.
