The World Bank published a new Doing Business<\/a> ranking for the upcoming year of 2016. The ranking includes 189 economies of the world, according to the Ease of Doing Business.
\nBettern than last year<\/a> (63), Moldova degraded by 3 positions in only half a year from 49 to 52. <\/p>\n

Although the transparency in the business sphere has been established by law and some registration visits have been taken out, the Doing Business measurements<\/a> went down mainly due to the increasing of the taxes (-9) introduced by the Government Strelet, but also by the increasing of the minimum interest rate (19%).<\/p>\n

Except the topic of Starting a Business (+9), Moldova worsened the other conditions of doing business:
\n-Dealing with Construction Permits- 170th place (-1)
\n-Getting Electricity- 104th place (-4)
\n-Registering Property- 21st place (-1)
\n-Getting Credit- 28th place (-4)
\n-Protecting Minority Investors- 36th place (-3)
\n-Paying Taxes- 78th place (-9)
\n-Trading Across Borders- 33rd place (-1)
\n-Enforcing Contracts- 67th place (-1)
\n-Resolving Insolvency- 60th place (-1)<\/p>\n

Thus, the process of opening and managing business has been made harder not only for foreign investors, but for Moldovan businessmen and entrepreneurs as well.
