After the banning of flights between Russia and Ukraine, the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova announced new rules for foreigners when entering the Moldovan territory through the separatist Transnistria.<\/p>\n

In order to avoid divergences at the state border, the foreign citizens that entered Moldova at uncontrolled check-points are obliged:
\n-during 72 hours from the entrance in the Republic of Moldova, to declare about their presence at one of the legal check-points by presenting their travel documents;
\n-to present proof of transiting. In case of the lack of the stamp, the border policemen can presume the illegal passing on the territory. Therefore, the foreign citizens can give the travel tickets as proof of transiting. Otherwise, the deporting will be applied in case of false information.
\n-to declare their presence at territorial offices of the Migration and Asylum Bureaus of Moldova;<\/p>\n

The violation of the terms of confirmation will be punished with a fine of 10 to 20 conventional units (1 unit=20 lei, approx. $1 US dollar).
