On Friday, September 25th, the financing plan between the Government of Moldova and the World Bank was finally made for the project “Improvement of the local roads”.<\/p>\n

The group of negotiators was formed from representative of the Ministry of Transportation and Roads Infrastructure, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finances and the State Chancellery of Moldova. The Moldovan group was led by the Vice-Minister of Transportation, Vitalie Rapcea.<\/p>\n

The plan is composed from two parts: financing component, represented by a Financial Agreement between the Moldovan Government and the International Development Association, and the credit component, a Credit Agreement between Moldova and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, parts of the World Bank.<\/p>\n

There has been agreed that the World Bank will offer a $80 millions credit for 5 years, with an yearly 0,5% interest rate for the Financial part and 0,25% for the Credit Agreement.<\/p>\n

The financial resources will be directed to the rehabilitation of approximately 300 km of local roads and to the access facilitation for the medical and educational institutions.<\/p>\n

The Agreements will be applied after the project is ratified by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
