According to NewsMaker<\/a>, the Prime-Minister of Moldova asked the Ministry of Informational Technology and Communications to ensure the public access to the names of the owners and the founders of the Moldovan companies in less than a week.<\/p>\n

Previously, the same demand was sent by the Prime-Ministers Chiril Gaburici and Natalia Gherman, but it wasn’t responded.<\/p>\n

Dumitru Alaiba, the secretary of the Economic Council of the PM, confirmed that the demand was sent last week. He stressed that the PM Strelet follows the recommendations of the Moldovans of the international partners, because the actual laws don’t prohibit publishing the owners’ names.<\/p>\n

In October 2014, there was published information about the companies (except the founders) at the demand of the PM Iurie Leanca, pushed by his Economic Council.<\/p>\n

Until that time, that kind of information could have been gotten from the State Registration Chamber for a tax from 36 to 540 lei. Now, the information concerning the founders can also be gotten for a sum of money.<\/p>\n
