At the meeting of the so-called president of the self-proclaimed and separatist Transnistria with the ministers, the legal officers and the judges, there had been published information and methods of getting money out of the breakaway region, reports NovostiPMR<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A given example is the period between 2012 and 2014, when 894,5 million dollars were transferred through offshore companies, clients of Agroprombank. These offshore companies were getting money and capital in Transnistria, but they weren’t paying taxes.<\/p>\n

According to the separatist authorities, the insufficient payment of taxes, especially by the big firms, is one the reasons which causes the social-economic crisis in the region. For example, Sheriff, a retail company, reduced the tax payment with 150 million Transnistrian rubles, while KVINT, a producer of spirits, reduced with 10 million rubles, through offshore.<\/p>\n

Evgeny Shevchuk, the separatist leader, asked to create a temporary committee which will propose laws of fixing the offshore issue in the economy of Transnistria.<\/p>\n
