Around 800 soldiers from the Republic of Moldova, the USA, Poland, Georgia and Romania are participating between 12 and 25 of July in the International exercise Common Effort 2015. The event is taking place at the military training center of the motorized infantry brigade “Moldova” from Balti, the biggest city from the north of Moldova.<\/p>\n

According to the leader of the exercise, the colonel Veaceslav Rusu, the aim of the training is testing the ability of switching the types of artillery, but also the experience exchange between Moldovan soldiers and troops from other states.<\/p>\n

The National Army detached the 22nd peace-keeping battalion, the brigade of motorized infantry “Stefan cel Mare”, the Battalion of Transmissions, the Center of Communications and Information and some soldiers from the Military Academy “Alexandru cel Bun”.<\/p>\n

The Moldovan troops will be trained by their American mates at shooting from bomb-launchers (120 mm and 60 mm), that belong to both Moldovan and American armies. At the same time, the communicators will be trained to use high-tech equipment for transmitting information in order to improve the command system.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the joint troops will participate in missions in 21 locations, including a crowd, a patrol route, a battlefield, a command point, medical point and many others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
