The Liberals had planned the electoral meeting at 11 and the Platform at 12, on Sunday, June 7th.<\/p>\n<p>The Liberal meeting gathered some hundreds of supporters and dozens of cars and buses. The civic group gathered thousands of people across the Square, to protest against the current political regime, that is guilty of high-level corruption acts and committing economic crimes, like stealing more than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/www.moldova.org\/the-story-of-moldovas-lost-billion-so-far-kroll-report-leaked-businessman-arrested-ex-president-involved\/&amp;sa=U&amp;ei=oXF1VdfkKsKogwSqyoHgCw&amp;ved=0CAgQFjAB&amp;client=internal-uds-cse&amp;usg=AFQjCNGZNaaoDjwsRP9pUnzzE_JC3b2mWQ\" target=\"_blank\">one billion euros<\/a> through Banca de Economii, the biggest bank until 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The civic protesters were shouting messages like &#8220;No Mafia!&#8221;, &#8220;Traitors!&#8221;, demanding the resignation of the leadership of the General Prosecution, the National Bank (put by Liberals) and the National Office for Financial Market. The Liberals were claiming that the protesters are just provocateurs and were asking them to leave, while the last ones were claiming that the Liberal Party organized the meeting at the demand of the oligarch, Vlad Plahotniuc.<\/p>\n<p>The Civic Platform declared that it will form a political movement and left the Square in a march to several public institutions, like the National Anti-Corruption Office, the Parliament of Moldova, the Russian Embassy and the Government.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police, the civic protest gathered about 6000 people.<\/p>\n<p><a
