The leader of the civic platform \u201dActiunea 2012\u201d, George Simion, known for supporting the Reunion of Moldova with Romania, was retained by the national security officers of Moldova in Chisinau, on Wednesday, May 13th.<\/p>\n

George thinks his arrest has the goal to stop the Union March, on May 16th from Chisinau.<\/p>\n

He received a copy of the document, that banns him from entering Republic of Moldova for 5 years. As a Romanian citizen, he was escorted by officers to the checkpoint Leuseni with Romania.<\/p>\n

A protest to support George will be held on Thursday, May 14th, at 17:00, outside the Embassy of Moldova in Bucharest, Romania.<\/p>\n

At the moment this article was being written, George Simion was trying to cross again the Moldovan checkpoint and to enter Moldova.<\/p>\n
