The Republic of Moldova Pavilion for Expo Milano 2015 is ready and will open on 1 May, the same say as the launch of the international exposition in Italy’s financial capital.<\/p>\n

“Using an unique and modern concept, the Moldovan pavilion will promote the worldwide values and culture of Moldova. Our country will reflect the potential investment and participating Moldovan companies will have the opportunity to establish international partnerships,” said Stephane Bride, the Minister of Economy in Moldova at the meeting.<\/p>\n

During the six-month exposition, there will be special events on priority sectors for Moldova’s economy, including a month each dedicated to a particular sector, such as textiles, wine, tourism, fruits and vegetables.<\/p>\n

For instance, sector representatives will be asked to participate in business missions in Italy, during the same period, There will be significant events in the sector. This will give the chance to entrepreneurs to forge new business relationships.<\/p>\n

Currently, there is making interior furnishing in Moldovan Pavilion. There will be 140 participating countries at the exhibition, and 60 pavilions. This is 20 pavilions more than at the 2010 exposition in Shanghai.<\/p>\n

World Expo 2015 will take place from 1 May to 31 November in Milan, Italy, and the exhibition’s theme is “Feeding the Planet. Energy for Life.”<\/p>\n

Moldova has participated in two World Exhibitions, firstly in 2000 in Hanover, Germany, and secondly in 2010 in Shanghai, China, inside pavilions which hosted a group of states.<\/p>\n

The Milan Expo 2015 will be the first time when Moldova participates with its own pavilion.<\/p>\n
