European Union could stop finance supplying for the Republic of Moldova if our country does not register any progresses in the reform implementation. This declaration belongs to the head of EU delegation Pirkka Tapiola.<\/p>\n

During today\u2019s press conference where was presented the report about the progress on Neighborhood Policy, Tapiola asked for a transparency from authorities noting that European Union \u201cis concerned of lasts developments in the banking system.\u201d<\/p>\n

The diplomat was puzzled to theft without precedent of the two banks, wondering “how can you steal so much money in a such small country as Moldova.”<\/p>\n

In this context, Tapiola explained that the money offered by the EU is strictly dependent on reforms which are implemented in our country and the lack of reforms will lead to suspension of funding.<\/p>\n

This means that Moldovan authorities have to take urgent measures to recover the stolen money. However, he said that Moldova was behind with regard to legal reforms, removing of corruption, transparency of media institutions, and also in the dialogue between\u00a0Chisinau-Tiraspol.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
